Flat PDA Sales in 2002
The research firm, Gartner Dataquest, predicted that unit shipments across the world would increase 18 percent, to 15.5 million, similar to the 18.3 percent growth recorded for 2001. Todd Kort, an analyst with Gartner, said that an increase in spending by consumers and corporations should fuel a 26 percent growth rate in 2003. He said the acceleration in growth should begin in the second half of this year, as manufacturers began selling devices with wireless connectivity, more powerful processors and built-in phone functions to take advantage of faster cellular networks.

A very simple interface which will allow you to post to a blog from your Palm or WinCE device via AvantGo. There is also MOB which is being worked on to allow posts to blogs via PocketPC and WebLog which does a similar thing on Palms.

peer-to-peer information sharing schemes
With the introduction of instant outlining late last month and now this, it appears companies are trying to provide technologies that address the need of sharing data with others. Perhaps it's time to begin working on an XML spec for a generic personal knowledge base...
